We often have visitors coming into The JCB Academy but today was slightly different, a guided tour for several teachers from Poland. The 13 Polish teachers were in the UK for eight days, visiting various parts of the country and also two education establishments, a college in Wolverhampton and The JCB Academy. The UK visit was a part of a European Funding initiative, aiming to raise the standards of Polish teaching and to improve the linguistic and communicative competence.
Whilst walking past a classroom, one of the Polish teachers did ask if the students were in an exam as they were so well behaved and engaged in their lesson. One of the other things that really impressed the Polish teachers was the conduct of the academy students in and around the academy and how smart their appearance was.
