Day 8: Saturday 25th February 2017
The weekend began with a visit to Cleland Wildlife Park where staff and students were able to observe the local wildlife of Australia. Armed with bags of animal feed, the students walked freely amongst kangaroos, wallabies, bettongs and potoroos. One of our students, Rob Turner, and his host, Declan Moseley, bravely attempted to feed the emus. Also on view at Cleland were dingoes, Tasmanian devils, native birds, water birds, forest birds, snakes, reptiles and even the elusive echidna. After a spot of lunch, staff and students went their separate ways to spend the remainder of the weekend with their host families.
